In an effort to most effectively communicate this policy to you, this notice is available on the homepage of the firm’s website and at every point where information may be requested.
No Attorney-Client Relationship is Created by Accessing our Website.
It is very important for you to understand that simply by providing our firm personal information via the firm’s website, or by sending a query via email, an attorney client relationship is not created. Therefore, until you sign a retainer agreement with the firm, or meet with one of our lawyers who affirmatively states he or she is taking on your representation, you should not consider the firm to be your attorney.
The Way Information is Used
We do not disseminate the information you provide about yourself when completing a questionnaire or emailing a query to the firm. In fact, this information is kept confidential and will be used by the law firm solely to assess whether you have a legal matter for which the firm may desire to provide legal representation. (Remember, however, that unless a retainer or other agreement is reached between you and one of our attorneys, an attorney-client relationship has not been created.) In the event that you do hire our firm, we do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide legal representation and with your informed consent.
We use return email addresses to answer the email queries we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
